He loves me… He loves me not … Cheridan Smith Photography

Lie after lie and somehow I still believe you.

My heart doesn’t stop giving; my heart doesn’t stop growing.

You make it twinge in ways it shouldn’t ache but I don’t want to let go of your potential.

You think she’s prettier, you think she’s smarter, you’d rather have someone you can’t have.

You all would. I don’t know why, but I’m fine with it.

I’m fine with being the person who always gives love but doesn’t get it.

I’m fine with showing you someone cares so deeply.

I’m happy to give you love you should have always been given and never were.

I’m not giving up on you because I put others before myself. It is who I am. I love myself for that, but I love people too.

I’m a constant you crave in an ever evolving world.

I’m the sparkling sun on a sunken sullen day.

I won’t go, even when you leave me, I’ll stay.

I’ll live on in your heart as the girl who always cared.

As the girl who wasn’t enough for you but gave everything to show you that you were and forever will be.
