Droplets

Teardrops fall on the window as the clouds cry from the heavens.

Raindrops fall from my eyes as the ocean depths seep from my skin.

Drip. Drop.

Water droplets sing lullabies.

They put me in a trance; they take me to another dimension.

If I had said yes the first time what would be different? Would we still be together? Live together? Love each other?

If I had said no the last time what would be different? Would you respect me? Miss me? Care at all for me?

The sky sobs; the clouds scream.

My face mirrors the skies.

My insides burst outside;

Maybe I created this weather tonight.
